五個高雄在地的女性藝術家，從「打狗英國領事館」這個跨殖民歷史、跨文化的所在出發，在原為非創作而生的十九世紀歷史空間下，試圖以各自創作相互對話、相互集結、探觸與融合，重新思索這空間／空監意義。最後的作品呈現，並非是單一藝術家單獨成就，而是五位藝術家在四個多月時間與空間累積以及觀眾反應、對話的結晶。簡而言之，「探索空監計畫」是個屬於藝術家與觀者的共同創作發表的實驗計畫。

Cell Exploration
Five Kaohsiung-based female artists use the basement of a former British Consulate, built in the 19th century, to reinterpret the identity of the prison cell. Over the past four months, they tried to explore and converse with each other’s works inside this colonial and historic building, which once housed prison cells in the basement. This exhibition is an experimental project requiring the participation and interaction from the audience. Rather than the achievement of one single artist, the presentation can be regarded as the result of everyone’s involvement and efforts.
